Benevolent Thuggery
Your account menu looks like the image here and can be found at the bottom of the menu at the left of the forum page. This is where you Create your Characters, check your Guild Rank, edit your account, view each character's page, access mass raid sign up, and complete your Raid Availability.
In order to sign up for raids on the calendar, you need to do the following:
  1. Be registered on this site
  2. Create your characters on this site
  3. Designate whether the toon is your main or alt using the pulldown Toward the bottom of the page, select your Preferred role. Enabling these will automatically bring up your main and main spec when you sign up on the calendar.
  4. Make sure that guild is set to Benevolent Thuggery in your character pages
  5. If you don't see Benevolent Thuggery as an option in the guild pulldown, check to see what server you are set for. If your server is not Dragonblight (US) then contact an officer to request that it be fixed
  6. Make sure your guild rank on this site is correct and if it is not, request a Rank Review on this site.
  7. Declare your Main Raiding toon by making a post in the Declare your Main Toon thread
  8. Follow the instructions in the Raiding Clearance guide to get approved for raiding.
  9. Sign up on the calendar on the forums using your Main approved toon always. If you wish to bring an alt instead, please indicate so on the notes section in the signup.

For a quick look at how to use the calendar, check out this link.
  1. We try to confirm the lineups for the 25 man raids for the week on Sunday evening and the 10 man raids by early in the week. Please be sure to sign up for the week's raiding by then.
  2. You must sign up with your Declared Main toon. You may be asked to bring a raid cleared Alt if that role or class is needed, but that will be at the discretion of the Raid Coordinator who sets the lineup.
  3. The color of your name tells you if you are:
    • Confirmed - Please be online, in the raid and ready to go at least 15 minutes prior to start time.
    • Pending - Your signup has not yet been processed by the Raid Coordinator.
    • Waiting List - Please be online and prepared as though you were approved in case a confirmed member is no show or needs to leave. Waitlisted members will continue to earn EP as long as they are online, so you are expected to be available if called. If for some reason you are no longer available as a stand-in (e.g. you are logging off), please whisper the raid leader or an officer before leaving the game.
    • Denied - You will not be in this particular run nor will you earn EP.

At this time, we have no way of adding comments..such as "you will be in for a specific boss fight only" or the reason you are not in the raid. We are hoping the developer adds that feature soon.
  4. Even if you see the group full (maximum group size already confirmed in Green), sign up anyway! We usually have one or more that have to sign out of the run and you may be next in line. If you do not sign up .... you won't go. Having exaclty 25 people isn't the best situation for raid leaders. Instead, having a large pool of raiders is ideal because they can assemble the best group with the greatest chance of success. If we have people that are late at start time with small raiding pool, we then have to scramble to fill in. If no one is on the waitlist, we have to try and pull people in from whomever is online at the time. This usually takes longer than posted start time and can be avoided by having more raiders signed up than are needed.
    • We will start invites 30 minutes prior to the raid's scheduled start time.
    • We will start replacing people who are not present 15 minutes prior to the raid's scheduled start time. If you are waitlisted, being online and prepared as though you were confirmed increases the chances that we will ask you to fill in. Once a group has been finalized and begins, if you were waitlisted and haven't been called in, you are free to do other things. As long as you stay online on one of your toons (even an alt), you will earn EP if you are on the waitlist. If you do go into a instance or group, understand that if you are asked to come into the raid, either you will need to drop the other run, or you will be removed from earning EP for the rest of the evening.
    • We will try to be inside and buffing at 5 minutes prior to start time to allow us to start the first pull on time.
  5. If you sign up and will be late please click the "I may be late" button and use the notes field to indicate how long you might be. You can also use the notes field (without clicking the late button) to let the raid leaders know anything else that might be important to them (specific bosses, wish to bring an alt, can bring any toon if you have several, etc).
  6. If you sign up and are not going to be able to make it, even if it is on the same day, please remove your name from the calendar AND add a reply to the "raid lineup" post for that specific run letting the raid leaders know that you had to retract. It is better for everyone if you can give notice, even if that notice is 30 minutes before start time, instead of simply being a no show.
